Mississippi Sloppy Joes

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 packet Ranch Seasoning
  • 1 packet Au Ju gravy mix
  • 1/2 cup Pepperoncini Peppers, Sliced
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup Ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Brown the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess fat.
  • Add Aromatics: Stir in the onion and garlic. Cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
  • Season the Meat: Sprinkle in the ranch seasoning and au jus mix. Stir well.
  • Sauce It Up: Add pepperoncini, beef broth, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer for 10-15 minutes until thickened.
  • Toast & Assemble: Toast the buns and pile the meat mixture on top. Add cheese and extra pepperoncini if desired.
  • Serve & Enjoy: Serve hot with your favorite sides like coleslaw, potato chips, or a crisp green salad.
